Michael + Lindsay run a regenerative family farm focused on soil health, diversity and ecological symbiosis.

The quality and flavour of the meat here, is not found in your local grocery store and is truly naturally fed.

The health of our food is impacted by our management practices and the quality of our soil. At Wholesome Pastures we utilize no-till, cover crops and by rotationally grazing livestock we aim to improve our soils, create healthier foods and support the environment overall. The beef and lamb are naturally fed by grazing grasses or with forages and not corn fed, never given hormones or antibiotics. Our chickens are started indoors and moved outside to mobile sheltered huts where they can forage growing grasses and insects. Our laying hens are free range pasture raised and offer a variety of coloured eggs; white, brown, blue and green.

In order to honour our livestock from nose to tail, we strive to reduce waste. The result is beautiful sheepskins, hand crafted leather and natural skin care to sell. The base oil is rendered here at our farm by our hands in small batches. Tallow oil based skin care is a must try.

We believe it’s our job to support our local communities and ecosystems with good food and management practices.
