Hi there! We’re the Yellowlees Family! We’ve been operating our small family farm in Nestleton, ON since the late 1980s.
We currently raise a small flock of sheep and a fold of Scottish Highland cattle, along with a few pigs, as well! We also have a small flock of laying hens.
We grow all the forages (grass/hay) that we feed our livestock and collect spent grain from several local breweries to add to their diet, too. The spent grain is a great source of protein for our animals and it diverts a waste product that the breweries would have normally thrown away.
We offer on-farm sales of our eggs and frozen lamb, pork and beef meat cuts, year-round.
We also make a variety of prepared foods, such as pork sausage rolls, lamb strudel, pulled pork, lamb buns and lamb pies. 😋
