Black Angus beef is a specific breed of beef that typically has more marbling than a regular cow, making our meat juicier and more tender. We only buy calves from reputable Black Angus breeders in Ontario that can provide us with pedigree records showing exactly what our animals are. Every one of our animals is 50% or more Black Angus. You may see some animals in our yard that have red fur, or a white patch; this means they are mixed with another breed, which is still just as tasty.
What does “Natural” mean?
All of our beef are All Natural Black Angus Beef. This means that from the time that they were born to the time that they arrive in your freezer they have not been treated with any synthetic drugs, growth hormones, or antibiotics. We only buy calves from reputable Black Angus breeders that can provide us with vet records that prove they are natural.
Corn Fed Beef
The feed of cattle plays a big role in the flavour of the beef. Our beef consume a well balanced ration containing corn silage, high moisture corn, soy bean meal, first cut hay, and mineral. We grow as much of our cattle’s feed ourselves that way we know for a fact that they are eating the best foods possible.
All of our beef is CFIA inspected for safety and wholesomeness before it leaves the abattoir. We stand behind only providing our customers with the best, so our beef only consists of Prime & AAA grades. This means our meat is one of the highest quality meats you can buy, being the most tender and juicy cuts of meat with the most abundant marbling.
