PFO primarily grows Italian varieties of vegetables or vegetables commonly used in Italian cuisine. Cut greens (salad mix or “misticanza”, spinach, arugula and kale) and herbs (basil, oregano and parsley) will be available throughout the year; tomatoes, hot peppers and onions will be available in mid-Summer through the fall. PFO will eventually offer prepared foods such as tomato, pesto sauce and hot sauce.
